FAKE DRUG FACTORY busted in Agra, 10 arrested, medicines worth Rs. 8 Crore seized. Authorities in Agra dismantle a major counterfeit drug operation. Ten people have been arrested, and counterfeit medicines worth Rs. 8 Crore have been seized.

The ministry of Health and Family welfare, Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation(CDSCO) and an expert committee have concluded that the online sale of medicines is in violation of Drugs and Cosmetics Act. 1940 and other related laws. The Drugs and Cosmetics Act regulates the import, manufacture, distribution, and sale of drugs and biosimilars.
